KTA, potassium titanyl arsenate (KTiOAsO4), is an excellent nonlinear optical crystal for optical parametric oscillation (OPO).
KTA is very reliable for OPO equipment. The tunable laser radiation energy conversion efficiency of solid-state laser can reach more than 50%.
In addition, KTA has a very high damage threshold. Compared with KTP, KTA crystal has greater nonlinear optical and electro-optic coefficients and less absorption in the 3.0-4.0um band.
